Marine Environmental Science
The Marine Environmental Science Program emphasizes an understanding and appreciation of the environment, the conservation of our coastal waterways, ecosystems, and habitats, and their importance to Florida. The program is designed to provide students with the critical life management skills necessary to make sound decisions and take positive actions to care for and preserve South Florida’s natural resources. Student focus on the many challenges and concerns related to marine animals, marine plants, marine ecosystems, marine habitats, the rainforest, and the Florida Everglades.
