Magnet Programs

Architecture & Design

The Architecture and Design Program challenges students who have the potential to succeed in design careers. Students enroll in an introductory course in Elements of Design which is supported by state-of-the art computer assisted design (CAD) software. Intensive instruction from teachers and design professionals helps students to understand the principles which govern all design. Students are able to demonstrate the use of these principles and elements as they pursue a wide range of career pathways, including architecture design, interior design, creative design, software design, and systems design

A portfolio of creative artwork is suggested for placement.
