Performing & Visual Arts

Creative and artistic opportunities are the main attractions at Parkway’s School of the Arts. This Performing and Visual Arts Program provides unlimited experiences in dance, vocal and instrumental music, art, and drama. Students explore a wide range of artistic disciplines in the classroom, in the studio, and on stage. Language arts, mathematics, science and social studies are thoroughly integrated with intensive work in the arts, which excites and motivates students. Students are exposed to exceptional artists, field trips and professional artistic performances. Students selected for this program must demonstrate creative talent or present a portfolio of creative artwork during a scheduled audition. Applicants must have two letters of recommendation sent directly to the school. Please contact the school for audition requirements.
