New Name for Attucks Magnet Program
Attucks Middle School’s Magnet Program has an exciting technology program. It’s called the Center for Instructional Technology Education. As part of this ground-breaking program, each and every student will receive a laptop on which most student work will be completed. To assist in this process, core curriculum text books have been converted to a digital format so that students can access their textbooks via computer. More importantly, the school has been upgraded to support a wireless community. Consequently, students and teachers will be able to connect to the school’s network without needing to connect with a traditional cable. In fact, the entire campus will be net-connected. As before, the Magnet Program still includes Television Production which features a state-of-the-art studio.
